OUTreach Headquarters
OUTreach began with a simple idea: that when people come together with care and intention, communities become stronger.
While our work currently happens across Wilmington through volunteer events and community projects, we believe our city deserves a permanent LGBTQ+ gathering place — a welcoming hub where outreach, connection, and culture can thrive.

In our vision, the OUTreach headquarters would serve as both a community gathering place, a home base for our volunteer efforts and resource center.

During the day, the space could operate as a welcoming café where neighbors, volunteers, and visitors can meet, work, and connect.

In the evenings, the space could transform into a social hub — hosting community events, creative programming, and opportunities for people to come together and celebrate LGBTQ+ culture.

What a future OUTreach space could support
• Volunteer meetups and project planning
• Community drives and resource distribution
• Coffee and conversation during the day
• Social gatherings and events in the evening
• Creative and cultural programming
• Partnerships with other local organizationsLGBTQ+ health and wellness resources
• Mental health and counseling services
• Youth support and mentorship programs
• Housing and community assistance programs
While this vision is still in its early stages, it reflects something we believe deeply: that shared spaces help communities grow stronger.
OUTreach is continuing to build the relationships, partnerships, and volunteer network that could one day make this kind of space possible.
